Matthew L. Vollucci, Jr. CPA MBA
Since
1979, Matthew has been an owner of Muto, Vollucci & Co., Ltd. The
firm has been a member of the AICPA Division for CPA Firms (PCPS)
since 1979 and has received their tenth peer review report (unqualified)
dated October 10, 2007 from the Peer Review Committee. Matthew serves
as the accounting and auditing technical partner for the firm.
Matthew has more than 30 years of accounting and auditing experience.
Since receiving his CPA license in 1976, he has been a member of
the AICPA as well as the Rhode Island Society of CPAs. He is licensed
to practice in Rhode Island, Florida and Massachusetts, and is a
member of the Florida Institute of CPAs. He has been Team Captain
for many AICPA and New England Peer Reviews. Matthew served a three-year
national appointment to the AICPA Accounting and Review Services
Committee. He has also served many terms as a committee chair and
one term as a member of the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island
Society of CPAs.
His experience in both a large national firm (KPMG) and in his own
local firm has also allowed him to develop a seasoned, practical
approach to dealing with situations typical in providing service
to small and medium sized businesses.
Michael A. Muto, CPA/PFS
Michael
received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University
of Rhode Island in 1986. Upon graduation, Michael began his career
in the public accounting profession working with closely held businesses.
During Michael's first ten years as a Certified Public Accountant,
he focused on corporate accounting and auditing; management advisory
services; and tax compliance and strategic planning for individuals,
partnerships, trusts and corporations. After working together for
eight years, Michael joined Matthew L. Vollucci, Jr. as a partner
of Muto, Vollucci & Co., Ltd. in 1997.
In 2000, Michael became even more involved in the financial and
estate planning role, earning Series 7, Series 66 and insurance
licenses. In 2003, Michael received the certification of long-term
care designation, CLTC. Michael is passionate about providing education
to his clients, friends and professional community about the importance
of long-term care planning. In 2006, Michael earned his Personal
Financial Specialist certification. Only 3,000 CPAs nationwide hold
this certification.
Michael resides in North Kingstown with his wife Linda and their
son, Michael.
