Matthew L. Vollucci, Jr. CPA, MBA, CVA
Since
1979, Matthew has been an owner of Muto, Vollucci & Co., Ltd. The
firm has received their tenth peer review report (unqualified)
dated October 10, 2007 from the Peer Review Committee. Matthew serves
as the accounting and auditing technical partner for the firm with more than 30 years of accounting and auditing experience.
Matthew has been a member of
the AICPA as well as the Rhode Island Society of CPAs since 1976. He is licensed
to practice in Rhode Island, Florida and Massachusetts, and is also a
member of the Florida Institute of CPAs. He has been Team Captain
for many AICPA and New England Peer Reviews. Matthew served a three-year
national appointment to the AICPA Accounting and Review Services
Committee. He has also served many terms as a committee chair and
as a member of the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island
Society of CPAs. In 2006, Matthew became a certified business valuation analyst and a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. Matthew's experience in both a large national firm (KPMG) and Muto, Vollucci & Co., Ltd. has allowed him to develop a seasoned, practical
approach to dealing with situations typical in providing advisory services
to small and medium sized businesses.
Michael A. Muto, CPA/PFS , CVA
Michael
received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University
of Rhode Island in 1986. Upon graduation, Michael began his career
in the public accounting profession concentrating on offering closely held businesses corporate accounting and auditing services; management advisory
services; and tax compliance and strategic planning for individuals,
partnerships, trusts and corporations. After working together for
eight years, Michael joined Matthew L. Vollucci, Jr. as a partner
of Muto, Vollucci & Co., Ltd. in 1997.
In 2000, Michael became more involved in the financial and
estate planning role, earning Series 7, Series 66 and insurance
licenses. Furthering his education as a financial advisor, he earned his Personal
Financial Specialist certification in 2006. Only 3,000 CPAs nationwide hold
this certification.
Professional service firms and company executives often look to Michael to help them with divorce, dissenting stockholder issues, and stock and partnership interest conveyances, all of which require an in depth knowledge of the intracies of business valuations. Accordingly, in 2007, Michael earned a business valuation analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Michael resides in North Kingstown with his wife Linda and their
son, Michael.
